Choose a MagSafe wallet by card count, tracking behaviour and whether you need a stand. Apple iPhone FineWoven Wallet with MagSafe, Black is a three-card option whose Find My support records a last known location and can notify you when it detaches. ESR Geo Magnetic Wallet Stand, Black (manufacturer SKU B0FSJLYZLP; retailer model 2K657) adds a stand, a built-in Find My module and documented space for five cards and cash.
We selected these exact configurations to compare a small card holder with a larger stand-equipped design. Do not buy by “HaloLock” or “Geo” alone: those names appear on different products, including versions with a grip and versions without a tracker.
Card capacity, magnets and Find My are separate specifications
| Specification | Apple FineWoven Wallet with MagSafe, Black | ESR Geo Magnetic Wallet Stand, Black, 2K657 |
|---|---|---|
| Documented storage | Up to 3 cards | Up to 5 cards and cash |
| Magnetic attachment | Apple describes built-in magnets; no numeric holding-force figure in reviewed page | Maker states 3,200 g holding force |
| Find My description | Last known location and detachment notification | Built-in Find My module in the exact Geo configuration |
| Stand | No stand function documented for this model | Adjustable stand; maker announcement describes portrait and landscape use |
| Charging/battery evidence | Reviewed Apple product/user guide does not provide a user-recharge procedure | Exact selected product’s charging connector and interval are not established by the reviewed text; verify supplied 2K657 guide |

Apple: check whether last-known-location support is enough
Apple’s product page describes notification of the wallet’s last known location if it separates from your phone. Its setup guide explains linking a supported wallet to your Apple Account and enabling detachment notifications. Complete setup before travelling; magnetic attachment alone does not establish that Find My is configured.
Drawback: that documented behaviour is not a promise of continuous standalone location updates. We do not equate it with an AirTag or a powered network tracker. Apple describes the wallet as shielded for credit cards, but we have not independently measured its shielding or retention. Apple setup documentation.
ESR: choose the Geo stand variant deliberately
The selected manufacturer variant lists SKU B0FSJLYZLP, a Find My module, five-card capacity and a stand. Its published 3,200 g magnetic figure is a specification to compare, not proof that your case will hold it through every movement. Apple’s reviewed page supplies no numeric force, so we cannot calculate a defensible strength ratio between these two.
Drawback: the similar B0DT171TVC retailer candidate identifies model 2K609 with a grip. We excluded it from the purchase mapping for this 2K657 no-grip configuration. We also omit battery-duration and connector claims taken from older Geo, Boost or Grip listings. Verify charging requirements for the exact item before depending on its tracker. Selected ESR configuration.
Check your phone, case and charging workflow
| Compatibility check | Before ordering | What remains untested |
|---|---|---|
| Phone and case | Match exact model to the current product compatibility list; use a compatible magnetic case where required | Magnetic fit through your case and camera clearance |
| Cards and cash | Count the actual stack, including embossed or metal cards | Loaded retention and access effort |
| Find My | Confirm exact wallet support, Apple Account setup and tracker power requirements | Recovery after loss is not guaranteed |
| Stand geometry | Check the intended viewing orientation and surface | Stability at your viewing angle |
| Wireless charging | Check instructions for removal before placing phone on a charger | A wallet is not a charging pass-through accessory by default |
Do not assume a magnet ring adds Find My or reproduces every MagSafe function on an unsupported phone. Read exact-model instructions before adding a ring or stacking accessories. Our MagSafe battery-pack guide covers charging; this wallet comparison does not promise that a wallet and battery pack can share the back of a phone at once.
Budget by the function you need

Our RFID-wallet guide explains shielded compartment capacity and card access. RFID shielding, magnetic attachment and finding a lost wallet are different functions; choose each deliberately.
